early evening, we went to Italian restaurant.

I took this picture after we had a dinner so little bit dark outside.

this restaurant had a small exhibition too. ( tote bag ) when you walk in the shop your

face hit the bags... sorry little annoying!

しっかりお昼を食べたのに、早くおなかがすいてしまった私たち三人・・・

またまた気になっていたイタリアンレストランに行きました。ここもちいさなトートバッグの展覧会を

開催していました。かわいいのですが・・・店内を歩くと顔にあたる・・・

After visited art museum we needed to get drink.

Went to this nice cafe.

because of heat and was not think anything....I ordered HOT cafe au leit....stupid.

these were not mine.....iced coffee and lemon tart.(it was tasty)

今日は猛暑でした・・・美術館のあと素敵な前から気になっていたカフェに行きました。
何を間違えたのか私なんと温かいカフェオレをオーダーしてしまい後悔（美味しかったですが）

一口もらったこのレモンタルトとっても美味しかった！

今回の印象派では出品作家が51人ほどいました。

ムンク、エミール・ガレ、アルフォンス・ミュシャ、ウィリアム・モリスなどです。

今日始めて岐阜県美術館に行きました。ちょっとした森の中にあり素敵なところでした。
一番嬉しかったのは大好きなゴーギャンの版画「ノア・ノア」が見れたことです。

The books I am going to read 4

Masako Shirasu was writer and essayist. She had good eyes for collecting antiques.
Her books being read by all generations. It is important for each period in history to have a "seeing eye" that directs people to discover what beauty is and how it can be found in the most obvious places. Shirasu was that eye for a time.

随筆家であり美しい物の目利きだった白洲正子さんの本です。私は個人的にご主人の白洲次郎の大、大、大ファン（ファンという言葉は軽い響きですが・・・）です。もう彼に関する本はすべて読んでいるといっても大げさでありません。　　まだ注文したばかりで、この本を読んでいませんが届くのが楽しみです

The Japanese Iced Coffee Method

This demo is very simple and easy to follow.  I never thought coffee in Japan is great.

But when I lived in the U.S hard to find nice one. Most of coffee I had was VERY weak like brown water.......you can find good one easy in the big city but not in country side.

このデモはシンプルでまねしやすいです。日本のコーヒーが特別美味しいと思ったことはなかったのですが、NYなどの大きい都市を除いて一般的なアメリカのコーヒーはただの茶色の水のように感じました・・・日本でコーヒーを頼んでそんなことはめったに無いのでやっぱり比較的はずれがないのかもしれません。アメリカに比べると。

Lunch reservation

Friend and I tried to make a reservation for today's lunch....since yesterday.
Made phone call at least 4 restaurants and all full booked.
We did not try luxurious shops but could not get any table.

I know we try to get in last minutes...

so we went to this shop. they use organic vegetables.

最近どこのレストランも予約無しで入れません・・・ものすごく豪華な店ではないのに予約しなければならないのです・・・・前から友達とランチをすると決まっていたのに予約をしなかった私がわるいのですが、案の定昨日トライした店は無理でした。二人で4件くらい今日になってから電話をかけて席を確保しようとしましたが無理・・・で、結局オーガニックな食材を使ったイタリアンのお店に行きました。お目当てのお店とは程遠い雰囲気ですが、まあまあかな。
