Guide book

Friend and I are going to Vietnam next month so start checking nice guide book.

Sorry to say this, but most travel guide books in Japan are suck. They are useless.

 

来月友人とベトナム旅行に行くに当たり旅行ガイドブックをチェックしました。

いつも思っていたのですが、余分＆どうでもいい情報ばかりが詰め込まれている日本のガイドは好きではありません。(一応チェックするんだけど・・・）なので今回はアマゾンでロンリープラネットの本を購入しました。

I am not school age kid anymore, but still love cute one. Make me smile.(^-^)/

子供でもないのに未だにキャラクターものバンドエイドが好きです。怪我をして痛くてもハッピー？な気分になれます。

今回はアメリカから取り寄せたマペットシリーズ☆カーミットが好き

my work place has a book shop and you can buy any kind of books (you can order too) for 10% off.

 

旅に出たい！特にアジアに！私が働いているのは大学で、本屋さんがあります。

一般の人もすべての本が１０％オフで購入できます。今既に一冊取り寄せ中です。

やっぱり大好きブルータス。

Friends told me about this shop name YAMAYA.

This is liquor / import food/grocery shop.

You can get reasonable cheese (big size!).

Many diffrent kind of liquors. Should know bout this place long time ago...

 

外国から来た友人に教えてもらったお店「やまや」お酒屋さんなのですが、輸入物がとにかく

充実しています。お酒だけでなくスナックやらチーズやら。しかも海外で売られているBIGサイズ。週末に大量にラザニアを作る予定の私は大喜びでした。

もっと早くから知っていたらよかったな。

 

Italian Cafe

Wanted to go to this cafe for a while and my friend said she goes this place a lot so finally

could go today!

Italian owner and his wife run this cafe.

 

We had Lemon cake and Tiramesù. GREAT!

Onece you experience coffe from this shop...Sorry! You can't go back to Star XXcks anymore...

 

shop name is MAGGIORE in Nagoya city.

 

行きたかったけど行っていなかったイタリアン・カフェについに行けた！友人の行きつけのカフェでした。イタリア人ご主人と奥様の経営されるお店です。

レモンケーキとティラミスをいただきましたが美味しい！！

コーヒーもココのを一度体験すると他のチェーンのコーヒーは飲めないかも・・・

次はランチを食べに行きたい！

Japanese sweets

friend of mine took me this traditional sweets shop today. I never heard of this place before even VERY famous.

 

green one called Yomogi-mochi (Mugwort-flavored rice cake)

pink one is Sakura-mochi (Bean paste rice-cake wrapped in a cherry leaf)

 

老舗の和菓子のお店に友人に連れて行ってもらいました。

桐嶋ローランドさんもご結婚の際、こちらのお菓子を出されたそうです。

 

とてもちいさなお店ですが、昔のままのたたずまいでとても好感が持てます。

お菓子も焼き菓子を含め沢山種類があります。

羽二重餅が有名だそうです。　今回私が購入したのはヨモギの羽二重餅と

桜餅です。

バターロンドンのネイルカラーが大好きです。ロンドンだけどアメリカのブランド・・・

仕事にもOKな色がこの2色ベージュに細かいパールが入ったのとラベンダー色です。

Yes, I own playstation3 got from friend....BUT have not used yet not even once....
Then I heared 4 is coming.... need to order games!!!!

 

プレイステーションを友人からもらって早2年ほど・・・一度も使ってないまま時が過ぎ最近

4が出ることが発表されました。もったいない！！ちょっと調べてみたら面白そうなやってみたいゲームが幾つかあったから購入しようと思います。

Love his design but did not know about him well so orderd this book.

大好きなイサム・ノグチ、でも彼について詳しく知っているわけではなかったので、興味を持ちアマゾンでオーダー。読むのが楽しみです。　でも日本の本ってなぜ上・下に分けるんだろう・・・・

the thing I do not like about Japanese book is they always separate one book to part 1 and 2.
