I could tell right a way the name of this car because I saw it in the movie Bullit.(Steve McQueen!)
This is not mine. My friends car.

He will make it totally new soon inside & out.

While my friend is working....I will steal his car and drive!

このキュートなポルシェ356は友人のものです。中も外も勿論見違えるようにピカピカにする予定です。　スティーブ・マックイーンの映画ですでにこの車を見ているので一目見てすぐにこの車がなんなのかわかります。　　友人が仕事でこの車を使ってないときの隙を見て私もドライブをさせてもらう予定です。

Japanese tea room

Toyota Municipal Museum of Art has a very nice tea room. (300 yen for the tea and little sweets)

and you can see small castle too.

素敵なお茶室もあり、300円でお抹茶とお茶菓子を楽しむことができます。

went to Toyota art museum today in the rain. design by Yoshio Taniguchi who designed fro MoMa in NY.

I loved design of the building. but outside of building, I like Okazaki museum MUCH better.

先日に引き続き今日は雨の中豊田市の美術館に行きました。NYの現代美術館のデザインをされた谷口吉生さんの作品です。建物自体はとてもすばらしいのですが、個人的には環境が岡崎のほうが好きです。犬の散歩ができるし、緑が多くて美しいのです。いるだけで気持ちが良いのです。

I can enjoy all of collection I saw at the museum.

after reading this book, I wanted to watch my favorite movie call a room with a view.

美術館で水彩画の画集を購入しました。見てきた作品すべてが載っています。

家で眺めていたら大好きな懐かしい映画が見たくなりました『眺めのいい部屋』です。

saw tiny frog. just became a frog from a tadpole. cute!

このお家にはかわいい猫が3匹いました。世界で一番？幸せな猫たちだと思います。

Friend took me to her friends house after we went to the museum.

美術館へ行った後、コーヒーを飲みに行きました。ジャパニーズスタイルのお店で囲炉裏がありました。

Okazaki city art museum is surrounded by lot of greens. Very nice place.

 some people use this place for their wedding.

It was a great idea that we had lunch before go to Museum.

岡崎の美術館の周りはリゾート地に来た様に緑が沢山あります。

ここで結婚式を挙げる人もいるとのことです。

美術館に行く前にランチをすることを進めてくれた友人に大感謝です。食べてなかったら

絵画を十分に楽しむスタミナがなかったかも・・・

ここのハンバーガーも美味しかった。

Watercolours and drawings-Art Museum

Finally! I could go to the museum I wanted to go since April.
I love watercolours rather than oil paintings so when I saw advertisement on newspaper I was so excited.

But the museum is little far from my place and even I saw the address...could not tell where the location in the city.

So I called my friend who lives in that city Okazaki. She loves art and did not know about exhibition so she offer to pick me up at the station and go together.

 

It was GREAT!! in Japan, I never feel tired during tour.(seeing paintings)

But this time for the very first time I had to take a break.

Paintings come from The Whitworth Art Gallery. 

This exhibition presents a panorama of British watercolour painting as it evolved over the course of a

century and a half, bringing together more than 150 works by over 70 leading British artists

including Paul Sandby, William Blake, J.M.W. Turner, and John Everett Millais etc.

4月からずっと行きたいと思っていた「巨匠たちの英国水彩画展」についに行くことが出来ました！岡崎に住むお友達が駅まで迎えに来てくれて一緒に行ってくれたのです。ありがたい！

油絵よりも水彩画が好きなので今回は久しぶりに見ごたえのあるもでした。日本の美術館で

見ている最中に疲れて休むということはまずないのですが、今回は疲れました・・・本当に沢山の作品が展示されているのです。瞬きをなるべくしないで見ていたので途中で目薬も必要になるほど・・・すばらしい！の一言です。次は島根県の美術館に移動するみたいです。

I ordered this book few days ago again.
about 10 years ago, I had it but when I move to America I gave it to somebody. Should not do that.

Swim in the paper pool is the title of this book by Yoshio Kataoka.

I learn about movie call Endless Summer, book of Aloha shirts history,David Hockney etc...

I will not let this book go ever again!

今年初めてボイズンベリーを収穫します。以前は缶詰を購入して自家製

アイスクリームに混ぜて食べていました。今年はジャムも作れそうです。
